Scope
The School and Community Outreach Program & Events (SCOPE) was created in 1999 by a group of retired educators who saw the need to promote youth leadership and participation in fundraising events that are mutually beneficial to both patients and students in the metropolitan area.
SCOPE teaches children the importance, as well as the joy, of helping others. Children from early childhood through college gain a sense of pride and self-esteem by volunteering and raising funds, while developing an appreciation for the value of community service. Events include read-a-thons for the very young to golf and tennis outings for older children.
Your school’s involvement can make a difference. To learn more about SCOPE, please contact Erica Dardon at CMF.
